Psychic Gorilla

This work, Psychic Gorilla,  was created for CIRCA 2025, and inspired by this year's manifesto.

As written in the CIRCA 20:25 Manifesto: REFUGIA, “All the solutions do not yet exist; we must build this ship while sailing…” Through my video, Psychic Gorilla, I am strongly encouraging people to stop looking solely outward or to just one person to solve the problems we are facing, and instead to take part in the problem-solving themselves. Starting in their own communities. I propose that if everyone who participated in the recent No Kings Day protest in the United States took just one hour of one week to contribute to their community’s needs, our ship would be in much better shape and could take us all to a new horizon. My video Psychic Gorilla is a repeated call to create unity in your community. To blur the lines that divide us. To be a Psychic Gorilla, which means to draw on your supernatural strength and awaken the dormant power of purpose to help yourself and others rise out of stress and strife. If we each contribute just a little to building our ship together, we will stay above water and move forward.
