Everything Means Something 

Everything Means Something, is about how I see myself as a character in my journey through life. I am symbolically represented here as the Jack o’ lantern.

The jack o’ lantern symbolizes “warding off evil spirits, representing the trapped, wandering soul of "Stingy Jack" in Irish folklore, and also serves as a welcoming guide for lost souls during the Halloween season. The flickering light within the carved gourd historically served to guide or frighten away spirits on the thinning veil between the living and the dead...”.

In my life I have fought to defeat an onslaught of negative or ”evil” influences in my person, and it was not without suffering but eventually I was victorious in my battle.

I wholeheartedly believe I had guidance along the way, hence the image of The Psychic Alien Grasshopper, wearing a pink bowed root system of ancestral eyes. The grasshopper is the jack o’ lantern’s guide in life. The grasshopper psychically shares ancestral knowledge with the jack o’ lantern to aid in its life journey.

Evil intentions and negative energy are represented here as Sporks encircling the jack o’ lantern but they can no longer gain entry to pick at the interior being of the jack o’ lantern.
