Having survived one of the more devastating mental health challenges with which one can be tested, I knew I had to tell my tale of ultimate and personal success. Passenger, Me will  be an abbreviated and surrealistic version of my story, Putting Down the Beast, a true story of me in a state of pure observation, like a passenger in my own mind and body. I had no control over my actions and this was due, primarily, to confusion caused by a lack of knowledge and understanding of the illness I was suffering from. It was a hard period of my life, but I learned that in the end my mind was breaking down to build myself back up. I eventually began to understand what my experiences were and that the mind is extraordinary! You must be willing to accept that humans are exceptional survivalists, capable of understanding what seems complicated at first, but it eventually becomes clear.

My life patterns, both good and bad, were unfolding to tell me a tale of how I got to be me. How I was fed, grew and groomed by all of the accumulated environmental input and "information" that surrounded me. That accumulation contributed to my learned behaviors as well as my inherited behaviors from my parents, grandparents, great grandparents and so on. However, utilizing my introspective and analytical skills, as well as the humbling of my ego, I summoned the strength and the ability to decipher unhealthy patterns and learn how to make adjustments and live a more fruitful life.

Life's path is riddled with patterns and it is your road you pave from the choices you make.

"It's possible... Stay positive!" ... .. .... .. .
