3.333

This series, 3.333 was inspired by my painting, I Wish I was a Willow. That painting sold and I found myself devastated. The painting was about running from generational trauma and finding comfort in the willow who was a symbol for my mother, she passed years ago. I realized the sale had also reignited my grief and grieving for her. I took a class on photo transfers and decided to process all of these feeling by creating new works and elaborating on that story.

The moral of the story... you can't run from generational trauma, nor any trauma not even the simplest of problems disappear when you run from them. You've got to turn around and face them.
