Once Was Person ... series in progress

Once Was Person... These people I painted struck me head on when I watched a video that pictured folk straight up suffering and becoming shells of themselves. I understand that some people refer to these people as NPC, (non-player characters, as in a video game). Its devastatingly shameful. 

I know this situation is not new. I know that since forever people have been abused, victimized, outcast and shunned and then cope with their problems instead of solving them in some way. What startled and infuriates me is that these people are "living" on the streets of San Francisco, California.

If there was ever a city who had the ability and disposition to do something proactive and create a template for a solution for the tragic houseless situation, I thought it would for sure be San Francisco...!! But they have done the exact opposite! It is an absolute crime how the city has perpetuated the this literally god forsaken and lethal situation to evolve, sustain itself and grow. 

I'm calling your attention to these people. They need real life saving help. These people are living in cities nationwide. 

Let us  find a solution to implement and bring people out of the pain!
